Veteran Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku has responded to the allegations of having sunk deep into drug addiction.
It’s no longer news that claims about Anuku doing drugs have been flying over social media lately due to his recent looks; which most people consider disturbing.
However, in a video on his Instagram story, the movie star categorically stated that he doesn’t do drugs. but finds solace in the bottle of alcohol after being struck by depression.
Anuku’s depression comes from the hardships he’s passing through.
In the clip, he showed off a piece of land he acquired in Abuja for setting up his film school but funds have been his greatest challenge, causing the land to lie fallow for years.
The entertainer also expressed optimism about God’s blessing, stating that when God finally sends helpers to him, everyone will benefit from it.
