According to the Lawmaker, there are three sanitation levy collectors in the constituency all with authority to collect from Onitsha South 2, Constituency (Odoakpu).

All of them are simultaneously making demands from the same residents to make payments to them.

Moreso, All of The Revenue Collectors are threatening the residents of. Odoakpu Constituency with court action and in some cases the residents are arrested by the three different people either with Bench warrant or OCHA Brigade operatives.

The Lawmaker said As member representing the constitúency, “I find it not only abhorable, but a gross repression and suppression of my constituents. The most painful aspect is that after collecting the money, no refuse is evacuated, thus leading to dirty environment.”

“Furthermore, these same residents are required to desilt the area at their own expense, failure to which they will be arrested by OCHA Brigade. It is on this note that I demand that further action in terms of court prosecution or hearing is stayed, pending the resolution of who is the real Sanitation Levy Collection Agent.”
