#ENDBADGOVERNANCE: Activists Insist On October 1st Nationwide Protest

Organizers of end bad governance protest have reiterated their determination to go ahead with the next phase of the movement slated for October 1st the nation’s independent day. Leadership of the movement said because of the socioeconomic situations facing the people of Nigeria, October 1st this year has been declared national day of survival and the day shall be celebrated with mass protest.

Intimating newsmen about the planned coming nationwide ENDBADGOVERNANCE in Nigeria protest, the spokesman of the movement, Comrade TAIWO HASSAN popularly known as Soweto said the protest will hold as planned because out of all the demands outlined during August protest non have been attended to by government instead things have gone worse in the country

As part of their demand for better governance in the country, the movement called for better security in the country, reduction in food prices, implementation of N70,000 minimum wage across board and most importantly, reduction in cost of governance.
