“Onuigbo is one of the longest serving members in the House of Representatives and his experience and achievements in his Federal Constituency and Abia State in general is in no doubt. Everybody in Abia State can attest to the fact that the newest Federal legislator who just joined us is a big fish and one of the shakers and movers of the current Abia political landscape.
“His reasons for joining APC is very clear. We wants a party where I democracy is a norm, and it is obvious APC is the only serious political party in Nigeria now. We all heard the letter, Hon. Onuigbo made it clear that in arriving at the decision to resign from the PDP to join the APC, he consulted widely both within and outside Abia state and decided to take the step to embark on the journey of helping the APC reposition the country.
“That is a noble decision from a noble Nigerian. It is also a wise decision from a wise Igbo man and of course, the most sensible decision by a sensible Abian who has checked properly and can see clearly that there is only one way towards changing our state and country”.
