
The Anambra Governorship election which is scheduled to hold this year has entered its closing stages as far as consultations are concerned. Many politicians have met a lot of party stakeholders in the state and held diverse meetings to declare their interest. Indeed the politicians are really ready to slog it out, but first they must have to win their party’s primary election before they can compete with the party’s name if they win. The All Progressive Congress will also field a candidate for the election and so far some politicians has declared their interest to fly the party’s flag.
1) Mr Ben Etiaba is a governorship ticket hopeful under the platform of the All Progressive Congress. He is a Chattered accountant. He is also a golfer. He is the first son of The first Female Governor of Nigeria. Mrs Same Virgy Etiaba. He is from Umudim Nnewi.

2) Dr Chidozie Nwankwo: He is a businesses man. He is the CEO of Wichtech group. He is from Oko in Orumba South local government area of Anambra state.

3) Chief Dr George Muoghalu: He is the Managing Director of Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA). He is from Nnewi.

4) Senator Andy Ubah: He is the immediate past Senator representing Anambra South in the House of Assembly. He is from Uga.

Chief Engr John Bosco Onunkwo: He is an Engineer by profession. He is from Umuchu in Anambra state.
