Anambra Guber: APGA Inaugurates Election Campaign Committees and Council

Ahead of the November 6 Gubernatorial election in Anambra State, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA has initiated the campaign process.

APGA National Leader, Board of Trustees Chairman and Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has performed inauguration ceremony of its National, State Local Government campaign Council and Committees.

The Governor performed the function at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka today, Friday, 20th August, 2021.

The APGA State Campaign Council has Professor Solo Chukwulobelu as the Director General, Former Deputy Governor Emeka Sibudu as Deputy Director, Mr. Primus Odili as the Campaign Secretary, Finance and Administration, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe as Deputy Director General, Operations, Strategy and Security, as well as Chief Ifeanyichukwu Ibezim as the Deputy Director General and Mobilization, among others.

At the National Campaign Council, while Chief Willie Obiano is the Chairman, Chief Victor Oye is the Deputy Chairman and others as members.

With the successful Inauguration, APGA is ready to start embarking on campaign and it marks the official commencement of smooth transition to the next dispensation.

Performing the function, Governor Obiano asked them to ensure to deliver the party at the polls, assuring of support.

Speaking onbehalf of the Campaign Council, the member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe described the Committee as robust, thanked the Governor and the National Chairman for standing firm for the truth to come to light and expressed optimism that APGA will win again.

Chairman of APGA Peace and Recinciliation Committee, Chief Victor Umeh said that the publication of the name of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the elected member is worthy of celebration because the right thing was done.

Also speaking, the standard bearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Professor Chukwuma Soludo said that APGA represents ndi Anambra noted that the poverty level of Anambra in 2018 was 53 percent but now 14.8 percent, cautioning against being mindful of the orchestrated campaigns against APGA, as there are no factions in APGA.

The National Chairman, Chief Victor Oye said that God brought Soludo to replace Obiano, having devoted his life to the service of ndi Anambra, just as Professor Solo Chukwulobelu pledged that APGA is marching from the venue to victory, assuring that the campaign will be on the solid foundation laid by the Governor.

The event was attracted APGA party stakeholders at the National, State and Local Government levels.
