APC Governor Kicks Against Twitter Ban In Nigeria

Following the indefinite suspension of the operations of Twitter in Nigeria, the Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Kayode Fayemi, has criticized President Buhari.

The Ekiti State Governor and APC Chieftain has described whoever advised Buhari as his biggest enemy.

According to Lai Mohammed, the persistent use of Twitter in Nigeria is capable of undermining the country’s corporate existence.

However, Governor Kayode Fayemi in a statement, berated the Federal government on ban and defined the action as an “indefensible move”.

“Suspending Twitter from Nigeria simply because they removed a dangerous and insensitive tweet by President Buhari is the most absurd move the Federal Government could have made.

Whoever adviser the President to make such move is his biggest enemy,” the statement read.

Multiple reports have it that the Federal government of Nigeria suspended Twitter operations as a result of deleting President Buhari’s “civil-war” tweet and video few days ago.
