Barcelona are keen to land Chelsea forward Willian amid interest from Serie A giants Juventus, according to the latest reports.
The Brazilian star moved to Stamford Bridge from Anzi Makhachkala six years ago and it has been stated in the past that the forward was wanted by manager Pep Guardiola at the Camp Nou before transfer to Russia.
In spite of his success in England, the club have consistently retained a passing interest in the 31-year old star and reports in the United Kingdom media over the past 18 months linked the club with a €40 million for the star.
It has been stated that Barca Coach Ernesto Valverde is a big fan of the star and has pushed a swoop for him, although it may depend on the future of other attacking players at the club.
Willian’s deal in West London expires next year and could be available at a reduced price with the emergence of England international Callum Hudson-Odoi also questioning the future of the South American, as written by Calciomercato.
Meanwhile, Davide Zappacosta could return to the Blues in the immediate future after picking up a serious knee injury during a training session with loan side Roma on Friday, Sky in Italia reports.
The 27-year-old joined AS Roma on a short-term deal during the summer transfer window and was expected to remain with the Italian outfit until at least January with the option to extend until the end of the campaign.
