Omoyele Sowore, a former Nigerian Presidential candidate was shot today in Abuja by a police officer. Sowore was shot while protesting and undergoing an insecurity rally. Many people have condemned the attack on Sowore and others that came out to Protest for the country to be better.
Protesting is one of the fundamental human rights of any citizen of a country and shouldn’t be a punishable act. Senator Shehu Sani has condemned the attack on Sowore he made it known that is a cruel act and condemned the state the country has reached.
Adeyanju Deji, an activist and a friend to Sowore made it known that the country is now using force on everyone and a protest that is a fundamental human right can no longer be demonstrated.
