Buhari Set to address Nigerians today

The Major General Muhammadu Buhari will address Nigerians at 7pm today (Monday).

This was contained in a statement by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

Though the statement gave no hint on what the President would be speaking on, The PUNCH gathered that it may not be unconnected with the coronavirus disease in Nigeria.

Following the increasing cases of the virus, the retired general had ordered a shutdown of Lagos, Abuja and Ogun State since March 31.
