The Cross River State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has commended Governor Ben Ayade for what it described as his inclusiveness in governance.
The Chairman of the CAN, Okon Ekpenyong, who gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Governor at the Executive Council Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Calabar, noted that Governor Ayade’s reelection for a second term in office was a loud endorsement of his industrialization policy.
He also lauded the Governor for his development strides in the last five years and his continuous support for the CAN.
Responding, Ayade, who thanked the delegation of the Christian body, explained that his administration is focused on people-oriented projects through prioritizing industrialization of the state.
The CAN delegation was accompanied by the retired bishop of Calabar Metropolitan Arch-Diocese, His Grace, Bishop Joseph Ukpo, and other top members of the Association.
