Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has postponed the resumption of civil servants in the state to the 26th of this month, as they are not to resume today again.
Recall that last month, Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu ordered all civil servants from grade level 14 and below to work from home for lllll as he asked them all to resume physically on Monday, 1st of February.
The governor said this following the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the state as he advice them to stay at home to prevent further spread of the virus.
Now, according to a circular published on Sunday, the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, said the governor has “further extended the work from home directive to all the State Public Servants on Grade Level 14 and below with effect from Monday 1st to Friday 26th, February 2021”.
This was done due to the state government’s concern over the second wave of COVID-19.
