COVID 19: Government Access Level Of Compliance In Akwata Food Market, Ogbete, Enugu State

The Enugu North Local government council, Hon. Emeka Ununze, SA to the State Governor, Prince Emma Efoke, Secretary of the LGA, Hin. Martin Chukwunulu Edeh and other enforcement Agents were today in Akwata food market to access the level of Compliance of the directives of the State Government as stipulated by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in maintaining high level hygiene, frequent hand washing with soap, use of sanitizer and social distancing

This is to ensure that everyone collectively avoid anything that would bring about & spread the revaging Conora Virus as a reported case in Enugu state.

The SA to the governor reteriates the Government commitment to safety and wellbeing of everyone in Enugu state.
He said that the government is putting every possible modalities in place to ensure the effect of the proposed shutdown does not bit hard on the indigenes.

He advised the market users that their full commitment in complying to government’s stipulated directives such as maintaining high level hygiene, constant washing of hand with soap, use of sanitizer, nose mask, hand globes and social distancing in the market place will also help the government to regulate her policies.

The Aide to the governor begged the people to take the directives of the government seriously because the virus is real.

The Executive Chairmain & the SA thanked the management of Akwata Food section for the presence of buckets of water, soap and sanitizer stationed at the entrance of the market. Also seen buyers and sellers wearing hand globes and nose mask.

They admonished them to ensure full compliance especially in the areas of social distancing.
