ASABA- The Leadership of Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Delta State Chapter has applauded the giant developmental strides of Member Representing Ika-North East in Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Hon. Anthony Emeka Elekeokwuri.
CUPP Leadership disclosed this today to our reporter through its Spokesperson, the Delta State Chairman of Kowa Party, Prince Eze Henry (JP) in the group’s State Secretariat in Asaba, Delta State Capital.
The group described Hon. Elekeokwuri is one of the best Lawmakers in Delta State owing to his developmental strides in the area of Bills
debated, passed, oversight functions performed by the Lawmaker in DTHA, Youths and Women empowerment and employment, grading of Roads in his Constituency and other indices of development that he had accomplished within and across his constituency that has distinguished him as first amongst his equals.
Prince Eze stated that the group had painstakingly watched and observed that as a Lawmaker in the state that Elekeokwuri had been able to grade not less that 17 earth Roads in Ika-North East even as first timer in DTHA, that both famers and traders had felt his impact in terms of support and financing of Market Women and Agriculture.
The group noted further that as a Lawmaker, Hon Elekeokwuri had been able to debate, passed not less than 21 Bills out of 23 Bills presented to the DTHA since his election as a lawmaker and performed strategic oversight functions that yielded results in the state that led to good governance, Accountability and transparency in the State.
Prince Eze stated further that research had shown that the Lawmaker had shown that not less than 14 Youths had benefited from his Skill acquisition programs, 42 Students from his financial assistance scheme, 20 Youths from his Agricultural scheme program and other supports to some indigent citizens across his constituency.
The group commended his Bill on administration of criminal justice in the state while affirming that the above tremendous performance is in line with the the stronger Delta agenda of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration, therefore urged him to keep it up for sustainable development of the state.
