PDP Starlwart in Kogi state,Dr Aminu Attaboh has lauded the PDP Local Government Congresses in Kogi state,stating the party readiness to retake power in 2023.
Dr Attaboh dropped this statement after the success recorded in his local government,Omala in kogi state and across other local Councils .
He particularly commended the former Governors of kogi state,Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and other stakeholders for their leadership roles during the congresses in the state.
He said the consensus arrangements that characterised the last congresses was an indicator of the readiness of PDP to wrestle power for the progress and developement of the state.
“The Local Government Congress of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP),that took place today,Tuesday,5th, September,2021 in Kogi State, and to God be the glory, the exercise went smoothly across the 21 LGAs of Kogi State all thanks to the intervention of our Leader and PDP stakeholders across the State ably led by Alhaji Ibrahim Idris’s leadership role in our dear Kogi State, everything went smoothly!”
“In particular, a leader of the party from Omala LGA, Hon. Aminu A. Atabo commended Alhaji Ibrahim Idris for the fatherly roles he played in most of the LGAs in settling those dangerous agitations from some party members. Of particular references are that of the crisis that ensured at Ofu LGA, Olamaboro and Dekina LGAs that were resolved consensualy before the LGA Congress that took place across Kogi State today.”
“From all indications and with the leadership qualities of Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Idris, the party (PDP) is ready to take over from the ruling party Apc in the state!”
