According to the Spokesperson for the Presidency Femi Adesina, Senator Abaribe deserves jail time for standing as surety and for not being able to produce Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB.
According to Sahara Reporters who make these findings, Femi Adesina made this suggestion on his Facebook account page, on Thursday the 6th of May 2021.
Femi Adesina in his post claimed that Senator Abaribe and a host of others are planning to destabilize the sovereignty of Nigeria, thus threatening its existence.
He wrote: “There is one Senator at the National Assembly, he is always using foul words against the leaders of Nigeria. The more impolite the words from his mouth are, the happier he becomes.
“He has also poisoned the minds of those in his region against the government. It was ironic to see him talk of insecurity, the poor state of the Nigerian economy…..
“This was a man who stood as a surety for an insurrectionist that later jumped bail. The government has not put the man in the prison, that’s where he belongs, and he dares to talk about stifling voices of discord in the land.”
Femi Adesina in his indirect approach, went further to give details and to reveal that he was indirectly talking to Senator Abaribe.
He said: “He spoke about utilizing all constitution means at his disposal against Buhari, and to do the needful.
“Well, talk is cheap, and dreams cost nothing. The motive of that fellow, and his cohort is not about the present. they are playing the politics of power grab for 2023, reasoning to muddy the waters before then, as much as they could do. The well-being and welfare of the country and Nigerians do not matter to them….”
Femi Adesina was clever enough not to mention a name in his words, but merely looking at what he said, one could easily tell he was referring to Senator Abaribe, who was a Surety for IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and have also in recent times gone vocal about his displeasure with the Presidency.
Only recently, the call for a vote of no confidence was being talked about, with a possibility of a proposed impeachment of President Buhari. No doubts Femi Adesina was referencing a senator who has not kept mute over the marginalization of the southeast in the hands of the current Presidency.
Femi Adesina suggests that with the current warning issued by the DSS, Senator Abaribe deserves to be behind bars for not just speaking up against the government and his people, but for not being to produce Nnamdi Kanu when needed, what do you think about this?
