Ganduje Says He’s Not Pertubed By PDP’S Election Petition


Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje says the petition filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) over his re-election in the 2019 Governorship Election, is an exercise in futility.

Responding to questions from state house correspondents after a meeting with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday, Ganduje insisted that he is not jittery over the petition maintaining that the election was free and fair.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Abba Kabir-Yusuf has dragged governor Ganduje and the APC before the kano elections petition tribunal claiming that the supplementary election was characterized by voter intimidation and electoral irregularities.

Ganduje urged President Muhammadu Buhari to look beyond APC when forming his next cabinet.

He advised the president to appoint technocrats that could add value to his government.
