Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma is a leader who does not respond to trends, rather he sets them. He is a leader who knows where he is coming from, with a clear vision of his destination, which is to leave the state, better than he met it.
By the time the governor completes his tour of duty in the state, he would leave his footprints in the sands of time, which will be a reference point for generations to come. Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu once remarked, _”A leader who serves his people well will be enshrined in their hearts and minds.”
At every slightest opportunity, Gov. Hope Uzodinma has continued to reiterate the commitment of his administration to implement to the later, the abandoned Owerri Master Plan and this he has done with every sense of responsibility.
The good news is that the citizens of the state are appreciating the significant progress on all areas of governace. This is also the reason the state is witnessing participatory governace.
Winston Churchill must have had people like Governor Uzodinma in mind when he observed, “What is the use of living, if it be not to strive for noble causes and to make this muddled world a better place to live in after we are gone.”
Governor Hope Uzodinma is like a captain who sees into the distance and he will not let Imo state capsize.
