Group Cries Out As Hardship, Suffering Worsen In Rivers

A group known as COVID-19 Situation Room in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, has decried intense hardship and sufferings government policies on the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic have dealt on residents.

Though the food market, promised the people, is yet to come to place, security agencies, Police and the Army have remained strict.

COVID-19 Situation Room members, who are mainly activists and journalists, in a statement signed by the chairman, Styvn Obodoekwe, called on Governor Nyesom Wike to facilitate the plan for the building of food centers across the state to save suffering residents from death by hunger.
