Nigeria right-back, Shehu Abdullahi, has joined his teammates at Bursaspor after declaring that he is 100 per cent fit to play.
He gave the update about his injury in a tweet on Thursday, where he also uploaded pictures from his training session.
Announcing his return to training, he said, “Back to work! 100 per cent fitness! Thanks for the love.”
Abdullahi played only 42 minutes of his Africa Nations Cup debut with the Super Eagles after he pulled a hamstring and was substituted.
He struggled with injury blight last season with Bursaspor and was restricted to 13 league matches for the club.
The 26-year-old began his professional career with Plateau United and has gone to feature for Kano Pillars, Qadsia, Uniao da Madeira and Anorthosis Famagusta before joining the Turkey-based outfit.
He was part of the Super Eagles’ team that finished third in the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
