Imo: Hope Uzodinma Fingered In Attack On Justice Odili’s Abuja Residence

The high level intrigues and lobbying ahead of the hearing of the suit filed by ex Imo Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, seeking to set aside the Supreme  Court judgement of 14th January, which sacked him as governor, has taken a dangerous dimension.

According to impeccable sources, Governor Hope Uzodinma has not hidden his discomfort with Justice Mary Odili, who hails from Mbaise in Imo State, same as Emeka Ihedioha.

Governor Uzodinma has about a week ago, through a statement by his spokesman, asked Justce Odili to recuse herself from the panel, which heard Ihedioha’s application on the 18th of February 2020.

Akelicious gathered that Uzodinma after failed attempt to get the judges on his side, despite threats and blackmail through the Director of DSS, Yusuf Bichi, vowed to ensure that Justice Odili does not come to court at all, even when she is not on the Review panel.

Part of the plans deployed by Uzodinma was to mobilize hoodlums from neighbouring states to her residence early Tuesday morning, under the guise that they were protesting the Supreme  Court judgement on Bayelsa State governorship election.

Reports available to The Mouth, have it that, while the thugs attacked Justice Odili’s residence,  with guns and matchet, Governor Uzodinma’s aides were seen around the area, in a bid to ensure that things went as planned.
