Its very clear President Mohammadu Buhari extended the tenure of the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu some days ago.
Following the extension of the IGP’s tenure, Sahara Reporters has reported that the inspector general of police Mohammed Adamu paid over N2 Billion for his tenure extension.
According to Sahara Reporters, A source in the Nigerian Police Force revealed that the IGP, Mohammed Adamu paid more than N2 Billion in oder to get a one- year extension in office.
The source also disclosed that he was not happy that he only got three months extension and therefore refused to celebrate his extension in office.
The source also said that when the extension of office for the IGP was announced, He locked his door which prevented senior officers from congratulating him.
