Juventus Desperate For Goals After Ronaldo’s Exit

Juventus have struggled to replace Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals and currently have the worst record among the top 10 in Serie A.

Ronaldo scored 101 goals in 134 competitive games with the Bianconeri, helping the club win two Scudetti and one Coppa Italia during his three years at the Allianz Stadium.

But the Portuguese superstar, capped 182 times by his national team, left the club in August and the Bianconeri never managed to replace his goals before the transfer market shut.

Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to the Bianconeri in recent weeks and the Serbian could be a solution to the obvious problem at Juve this term.

Juventus sit eighth in the table and the record in front of goal is the main problem, with 16 goals scored in the first 12 games.

Inter are the highest scoring side in the league with 29 goals from the same amount of games played.

The Bianconeri have the worst record among the top 10 Serie A clubs, tied with Fiorentina on points and goals scored.

Hellas Verona have scored 25 and sit 10th, while Bologna at ninth have scored 19 goals so far.

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile leads the way in the Capocannoniere battle with 10 goals so far this term, one more than Giovanni Simeone and two above Fiorentina striker Vlahovic.

Immobile has scored more goals than Paulo Dybala, Moise Kean, Federico Chiesa and Alvaro Morata combined.

Dybala has bagged three goals in the league, with Kean, Chiesa and Morata all on two each so far in 2021-22.
