Kano State Governor Replies Sultan Of Sokoto Over Religious Debate

The Kano State Government through the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Dr Tahar Baba (Impossible) has said that the issue of the debate between Sheikh Abduljabbar and the Kano State clerics is still valid. According to the commissioner, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alh Sa’adu Abubakar, has not received an official message for a long time, and we have seen it on the internet.

However, we say that the Kano State Government is not under the auspices of Jama’atu Nasril Islam, so preparations are underway for the session on Sunday, March 7 as scheduled. In a statement issued yesterday, the JNI announced the removal of the Sultan of Sokoto, Alh Sa’adu Abubakar, from his post as the chairman of the Kano State Government. The JNI also called on the Kano State Government to reconsider the meeting between Kano State Clerics and Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasiru Kabara.
