The Kwara government has concluded arrangements to introduce a Synergy Education Management System in all schools across the state.
The move is to ensure delivery of high quality education in a timely and cost-effective manner.
The Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Alhaja Bilikisu Oniyangi, made the disclosure while fielding questions from reporters in Ilorin.
According to her, the model would allow for effective monitoring of every teacher right there from the ministry.
Besides, she said earnings and deductions of teachers on a monthly basis would be ascertained and necessary corrections made if need be.
Oniyangi said $100,000 had been set aside as incentive by the World Bank through the Federal Ministry of Education for states that embraced the novel idea, adding that her state was leading in this direction.
