The Compassionate Founder of “United For A New Nigeria Initiative” & A PDP Woman Great Mobilizer/Leader Lady Juliet Anaeme have called on the attention of the Federal & State Government on the rate of hunger in the land which is at increase since the inception of the Pandemic Covid-19 alongside the Government lockdown order which have been extended to two extra weeks.
In a statement to the Press , Lady Juliet Anaeme stated that ” the government with all sense of responsibility should quickly address the issue of hunger as the lockdown have continued to increase crime rates and unwarranted deaths in the Nigerian State.
She also advised that the government should pay special attention to children, Aged Parents and Nursing Mothers in rural areas who find it difficult to feed daily.
Stating that Nigerians are not prepared for the extension of the lockdown for 2 extra weeks, that many nigerians lack finance to feed themselves; therefore the federal govt should ensure the budgeted funds to be disbursed should be distributed adequately & that every single indigent in communities in the different states are expected to be beneficiaries to that effect.
In her speech she appealed to Nigerians to keep enduring this hard time and always comply with the government and health authorities orders as this is a compulsory sacrifice we must make for our own safety.
