As part of its efforts to provide housing for the residents, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commissioned two housing estates under Lagos HOMS in Lekki phase two and Iponri.
Sanwo-Olu, who was accompanied by his deputy Obafemi Hamzat , said the projects were parts of his administration’s commitment to providing affordable and accessible houses to Lagos residents in order to reduce the housing deficit in the state
The governor also commissioned National Veterinary Research Institute Complex, Keffi street Ikoyi which was built by the state and handed over to the Federal Government.
Unveiling the complex, Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu, said the completion of the complex was strategic for the Institute to commence Research for Covid-19 and other animal and human-related diseases.
The governor urged the staff of the Research Institute to reciprocate government’s gesture just as he assured them that the state government would also equip all the laboratories in the complex to International standard.
