Simon Ekpa, a self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to the death of Obadiah Mailafia, former Deputy Governor of the Nigerian Central Bank, CBN.
Ekpa suggested that Mailafia may have been assassinated.

The pro-Biafra agitator suggested that President Muhammadu and his “Jihadist cabals” may have assassinated Mailafia.

In a tweet, Ekpa wrote: “If Dr Mailafia has been assassinated by @NGRPresident @MBuhari and his Jihadists cabals, that will tell you how hard he hit them with a week sit at home proposal for all Christians in Nigeria.

“They don’t want to see him live and achieve that civil disobedience and be another Mahatma G.”

Mailafia was said to have died at the National Hospital in Abuja yesterday.

The former presidential candidate, who hails from Southern Kaduna, died after a protracted illness.

He was recently in the news for accusing some government official of being responsible for terrorism in Nigeria.
