Jude Idimogu, Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Oshodi/ Isolo constituency 2, has said that his relationship with Sanwo-Olu, newly sworn in governor of Lagos State wiould be better than what he had with immediate past governor of the State, Akinwumi Ambode.
The lawmaker, while speaking to journalists over the weekend during an appreciation party he organized for his constituents and friends at Ejigbo after being sworn in for the second term in office, said he was very hopeful to deliver more for his constituency.
He maintained that having campaigned for Sanwo-Olu, he believed he would leverage on the good relationship to serve his constituency better.
Idimogu stated that his constituency would be used as a good example of improved leadership because he had better experience now than when he started and also got good relationship with people especially the governor which he said would translate into good governance.
He said, “Having campaigned for Sanwo-Olu, unlike the case of Ambode, I think I would enjoy a better relationship with him (Sanwo-Olu), aside that I was one of the people who had the opportunity of meeting with the incumbent governor first hand. We campaigned for him. I would say that he knows me by face and that would afford me easy access to him,” he said.
