The crises in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)appears to be escalating as Niger state party members and elders have stormed the National Secretariat.
They are protesting an attempt by the aide of the National chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, in connivance with Sen Isah Misau and Hon Muraina from Oyo state, to alter the already declared local govt congress results.
The elected chairmen have already been sworn in according to the PDP guidelines but Misau and the committee are yet to submit the real results as they are nowhere to be found, 72 hrs after the elections.
Misau, who was in Minna the state capital along with his team members were alleged to have absconded in the wee hours of Sunday, leaving behind one of the Electoral Panel Member, who insisted they should wait to collate the results from the various local government areas.
The protesters are vowing to remain until the real results are submitted.
