Northern group Gives Buhari Two Options Over Okorocha Alleged Corruption

Some apprehensive northerners have on Friday gave President Muhammadu Buhari two options over the former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha over alleged corruption in Kaduna.

According to Punch, the northerners asked Buhari to either arrest Rochas Okorocha or to release ex-governors who are identified as Joshua Dariye and Jolly Nyame respectively from correctional centers.

Aside from that, some group of people the platform of Concerned Northern Forum, a coalition of other organization also asked the Economic and Financial Crime Commission(EFCC) to start the litigation of the former governor over alleged corruption.

One of the leaders of the forum and the National President of the Northern Nigeria Youth Forum, Abdulsalam Kazeem made this known while reading a statement at the conference which was held at the Arewa House, Kaduna.

They also noted that they are bothered with what is currently going on in Imo State because some northerners are also living there.

Kazeem narrated further that if the former governor of Lagos State, and the National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu could be under the watch of EFCC, then what about Okorocha?

According to Kareem during the conference, he insisted that Buhari led administration should either arrest Okorocha or release the two ex-governors convicted over corruption.
