According to a source, the hoodlums sneaked into the room of the deceased in the night while her neighbours were not around and carried out the dastardly act.

The source said, “The attackers came in the night when the co-tenants of the woman had travelled. The other neighbours woke up to see and greet her in the morning when they saw her in a pool of blood. They raised the alarm and shortly after, policemen came to remove her corpse.”
