Panic for Solskaer As Alex Ferguson Approves The Signing Of Antonio Conte

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson seems to have already approved Antonio Conte as speculation over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sack intensifies, Mirror reports.

United lost 5-0 at home to Liverpool and there are concerns that Sokskjaer who has continued to receive heavy criticisms will be fired soon.

Although the decision to oust Solskjaer could be taken after their league game against Tottenham, reports suggest that former Chelsea boss Conte is already on the sidelines.

Ferguson told Sky Sports back in 2017:

“Fantastic, you see his energy on the pitch. There’s a true saying that the team mirrors the manager, and that’s what they’ve done with him.

“His team have stayed top of the league for so long. They lost to Arsenal and Liverpool early on, but since then they’ve been up.”

Ferguson’s previous endorsement could be key to Conte emerging as United’s preferential choice should the axe fall on Solskjaer in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, a clip currently making the rounds on social media has suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to have mocked someone following one of Mohamed Salah’s goals in their 5-0 win.

Ronaldo’s temper boiled to a new height when he picked out Curtis Jones with reckless abandon, before he later saw his goal ruled out for offside.

Wenger identifies problem of Man Utd and Ronaldo

Legit.ng earlier reported that former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has disclosed that 36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo has upset the balance of Manchester United squad since his arrival.

The Portuguese sensation returned to the Old Trafford club on deadline day during the Summer Transfer Window for a fee of around £12million after three seasons with Juventus.

Wenger admitted that it was not a mistake that the club re-signed Ronaldo, he however stated that the former Real Madrid forward has upset the balance of the squad.
