The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has welcomed home the former National Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Olisa Metuh.
The Publicity Secretary of PDP in Anambra State, Mr Nnamdi Nwangwu in a press statement said that every member of the party is excited to have the great politician back home.
Nwangwu noted that the legal luminary has been bearing the weight of the nation through his unprecedented political trials.
“The PDP family home and abroad is happy that our leader is back home, we are excited because we know that his leadership qualities would brought to bear on the November 6 Anambra State governorship election.
“The colourful reception accorded the former National Publicity Secretary of PDP at the party’s Secretariat in Awka is demonstration of the feeling among the PDP faithful in the state and beyond.
“We congratulate the Nnewi High Chief for staying strong all through his kangaroo trials and travails in the hands of those who have ran Nigeria underground, he is indeed a great Igbo ambassador in general and Anambra State in particular.
“We celebrate Chief Olisa Metuh, a founding member of PDP for not abandoning the party during his trump up trials, we know many individuals who actually threw in the towel in those trying moments of political intimidation but our own Leader, his consistency and determination to remain in PDP in face of his ordeals is indeed worthy of emulation.” Nwangwu noted.
