Plateau Killing: 10 Arrested Over Fresh Attack In Jos Community

Plateau Killing

Ten people have been arrested in connection to the fresh attacks in Yelwa Zangam village of Jos North council area of Plateau.

Governor Simon Lalong has called the attacks “barbaric”.

In a statement by his director of press and public affairs, Makut Macham, the governor has directed security personnel to intensify efforts in tracking down the other assailants and their sponsors to bring them to justice.

“Lalong is furious over the incident which security reports indicate was carefully planned as the bridge linking the village was said to have been destroyed to deny security forces access to the area during the attack,” the statement said.
