A philanthropist, Mr. Innocent Nwachukwu, has been called upon to wade into the wrangling among the youths of Umuohu Okpula Mbaocha Ndume Ibeku Community in Umuahia extraction of Abia State, in order to achieve more progressive youths in the society.
Comrade Uche Nwabuisi, a Community youth leader and Founder, Mount Zion Youth Structure, made the call during a chat with newsmen, in Umuahia, Tuesday.
According to Nwabuisi, the unending issues surrounding the youth body of Umuohu-Okpula Community have continued to impede the development and progress of the community.
He appealed to the foremost philanthropist (Innocent Nwachukwu) to galvanize every warring elderly men, women and youths towards finding lasting peace in Umuohu-Okpula Mbaocha Autonomous Community.
“I suggest and believe that he(Innocent Nwachukwu) has that capacity to bring the community together. Because, there are internal infighting in the community, and it has not augur to the development and growth of the Umuohu community. Rather, the crisis have divided the community.
“So, there is urgent need to allow peace reign in the community. We have passed such era of malice, trouble and violence. Lets every patriotic sons and daughters of Umuohu-Okpula Mbaocha Ibeku to jettison individual differences for the interest of the community and the youths”.
The Peoples Democratic Party, Stakeholder, popularly known as “Gadangwo” in the state’s political circle, commended the people of Umuohu-Okpula community for their large turn out during the traditional rites event held by Billionaire Business man, Innocent Nwachukwu, last Saturday.
He lauded the comportment of the youths, friends, associates, government functionaries and other invitees during the traditional ceremony, describing the Celebrant(Innocent Nwachukwu) as generous and grassroot- oriented fellow, who had made resounding marks in most facets of human lives, as well as, his unflinching contributoins in enhancing the economy of Nigeria through his genuine and wide business networks within and outside Nigeria.
Nwabuisi restated the supports and cooperation of youths from Umuohu-Okpula Mbaocha community and Abia State at large, to his untiring efforts to make more lives meaningful to his people.
He also thanked the Speaker, of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, for his visit to Maternal home,(Umuohu-Okpula), last Saturday, and his immense contributions in the empowerment of the youths through his numerous legislations, and well, support of the Executive Arm of Government.
Nwabuisi however, hailed the presence of notable Ibeku sons and daughters among whom were, Mr. Chibuike Akpbogeme,(Oloye), Mr. Wisdom Chidi Nwaubani, (Wizzy Stars), and Mr. Sabo Utumu, advised them to sustain their philanthropic gestures for the betterment of their people,(Indigenes).
