South-South Zone Of Algon Federal Taskforce Ended Her Seminar In Port-Harcourt

History was made today, 17th February, 2021 as the Seminar of the South-South Zone of ALGON/NULGE Federal Taskforce ended in Port Harcourt. The 2-day programme which started yesterday also featured the training of some members of the Taskforce.
The National President of the ALGON/NULGE, High Chief (Dr) Nnamdi Ogbogbo (JP) addressing the participants reiterated that Joint Mobile Sanitation Agency of Nigeria (JOMSAN) is an incorporated entity under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with the mandate of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) via a resolution and directive of the National Assembly to curtail the excesses of touts and stop collection of illegal taxes on our highways in the guise of collecting revenue on behalf of the government. He also said that the activities of these persons have, unfortunately, smeared the activities of genuine government agents in the country.
The National President went further to say that the organization is poised to bring back sanity on our roads, enhance the food supply chain and ensure the ease of doing business in our country and that Posterity will feel eternally grateful that our roads have been sanitised.
Speaking during the epoch-making event, the Coordinator of ALGON Federal Taskforce, South-South Zone, Mr Jonathan Apreala urged members to carry out their assignment with magisterial aplomb and sagacity. He read the Objectives and Rules of Engagement to them and advised them to work cooperatively to meet up the demands of their job and change the uncouth and bizzare attitude of touts on our roads.
The Seminar ended after an interactive session. It was indeed a huge success. Glory be to God!
