The governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has revealed that his administration is working so hard to make forests in the state Inhabitable for bandits.

He made this statement while welcoming the Inspector General Of Police, IGP Usman Baba Alkali on courtesy call, adding that they will deploy a technology in the Falgore forest, which happens to be one of the biggest forest in the state.

Recently, the governor had created awareness over influx of bandits in the Falgore forest. However, he has revealed that there is an ongoing work to establish a military training group in Falgore forest.

He also said that his administration is constructing RUGA project in the Danahoaiya forest, another dangerous forest in the state, with the aim of making the forests comfortable for the bandits.

While speaking, the governor revealed that the issue of Insecurity in the state is now extended to the forest, and that was why they took a stock of the forests that is in the state.

Furthermore, he stated that the major forest, and those that are contiguous with security challenges are Danshosiya forest, which is a border with the Kaduna state, adding that they have fortified the forest, making it difficult for any bandits to reside in it.
