The Deputy leader to the Indigenous People of Biafra, Uche Mefor-Okeafor has declared the readiness of IPOB members to challenge the Nigerian government in an open struggle if the need for war arises.
The IPOB Deputy Director of Radio Biafra, Mefor disclosed on his Facebook timeline on Friday said despite democratic modalities followed by the secessionist group as modern international law requires but will not hesitate to respond to call for war if need be.
He maintained that the world has evolved in 21 century with a novel of dispensed development in international law, relations and diplomacy and the group is keenly exhausting all, noting that all is to keep self-evident to justify any act of war.
Mefor’s reaction was regarding the military presence sighted in Afaraukwu Community ahead of the burial of Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and his wife, Ugoeze Sally Kanu, parents to IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
In a separate post, Uche Mefor condemned state by President Mohammadu Buhari that defeat on Boko Haram has restored the country’s dignity internationally.
He claimed that what has only changed in the APC’s led administration is the renaming of the terrorist group and change of strategy, noting that the Boko Haram militants are rebranded ‘bandits’, ‘herdsmen’, and ‘Kidnappers’ and. Many others absorbed into military, Police, Immigration, Customs, Civil Defence Corps, Civilian JTF while others serve at the presidency, Judiciary, Legislature and Executive.
He alleged that the drastic changes by FG were because the attention of the international community, mainly International Criminal Court beams on Nigeria, adding that the terrorists are sponsored by wicked Fulani Politicians.
He revealed that most atrocities in Nigeria have continued for a very long time because people in a position to speak up or act ‘have willfully and consciously decided to be deaf and dumb’ and the poor masses on the streets are passing through barbarism and cannibalism daily.
Uche Mefor, however, revealed that Biafra is in existence and not the question of if the country will be, adding that is either the people join them to move it forward or exit out of it entirely said ‘Biafra Restoration is sacrosanctly and sanctimoniously an irreversible certainty’.
