The former aide to Ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Reno Omokri has likened what the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration did to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu to those carried out by bandits and herdsmen.
Confirmed sources had earlier disclosed that Nnamdi Kanu was rearrested by the Nigerian Government and repatriated back to Nigeria, where he would face charges against treason. Recall also that days ago, Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka had accused the Nigerian Government of kidnapping Nnamdi Kanu from a foreign country in order to bring him to trial in Nigeria.
On the other hand, the issue of banditry has been a canker worm that has eaten deep into the nook and cranny of the society. It is not new that bandits have been on an abduction spree, wherein they abduct students and demand for ransom respectively. On certain cases, the bandits had threatened to kill the males abducted and take the females for wives.
To this end, Reno Omokri insinuated in his recent tweet that what the Buhari administration did to Nnamdi Kanu was pure kidnap.
