Why Is North Afraid Of Unity Of The South? – Senator Abaribe Asked

Abia State law maker and minority leader in the senate, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has come out to say that he does not see why the resolution of the Southern Governors become a problem since the North usually hold their meeting in Kaduna and make decisions that will be in their interest.

“Northern governors have been meeting in Kaduna to discuss matters that favour the north.” he said.

Speaking to news reporters, the outspoken senator said the Southern Governors have only discussed matters that can favour them, and it should not be a problem at all since the North have been doing it.

He said this is the first time South Governor came in unity to champion their cause, and he does not know the reason the Northerners are kicking against the meeting.

“For the first time, southern governors met in Asaba, Delta State, to discuss matters that would favour the South. Do you know that northerners are kicking against the resolutions of that meeting?” Senator Abaribe said.

He stated that they are not in any way in position to kick against the unity of the South.
