Yemi Osinbajo is the most disappointing Vice President in the history of Nigeria – Aisha Yesufu

The Nigerian socio-political activist, and co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls Movement was reacting to an article published by a popular Nigerian news platform when she made the headline statement about the incumbent Vice President of Nigeria.

In the said article titled “Osinbajo in 51 days”Ifedayo Peters, writing for the Vanguard newspaper referred to Yemi Osinbajo as the most popular Vice President in the history of Nigeria.

Ifedayo Peters listed some of the achievements of the incumbent Vice President while he was in charge of running the affairs of the country, during the absence of the president.

Some of the achievements listed includes, “how he forwarded Justice Onnoghen’s name to the Senate for confirmation as Chief Justice of Nigeria, how he fired the then Director General of the State Security Service, Lawal Musa Daura, for blocking the entrance gate to the National Assembly, how he stabilized the economy and brokered a peace deal enjoyed till this day, and many more.”

In reaction to Ifedayo Peters claims of Yemi Osinbajo being the most popular Vice President in Nigeria history, Aisha Yesufu shared the link of the said article, but in her own case, she called Yemi Osinbajo the most disappointing Vice President in the history of Nigeria.
