Following Lionel Messi’s departure from Barcelona, there have been a lot of criticisms about his last Press Conference at the Club where he went emotional and unable to control his tears.
One of Messi’s critics is Mohsen Saleh, Former Egypt and Libya’s Coach. The 72 year old Football administrator attacked Messi after his tearful departure from Barcelona.
The Egyptian mocked the Former Barcelona Talisman by calling his tears ‘crocodile tears’. According to Mohsen Saleh on his Twitter update, he slammed Messi for being greedy and thinking he’s the only one when he could have accepted to cut his salary to stay with the club, labelling his tears as crocodiles. “You’re greedy, and you’re not the only one in the club, you claim you left because of La Liga rules while others claim they left for ambition”, the Egyptian wrote on his Twitter page
Messi accepted a 50% pay cut on his weekly wage in order to facilitate his Barcelona stay but still the Blaugrana couldn’t renew his contract after the massive cut. He won 34 major titles with Barcelona at 34 including 10 La Liga titles and 4 Champions League scoring 672 goals in 778 matches.
