Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, CGCC, yesterday said some youths in their 20s and 30s are the cause of Nigeria’s present woes.
The clergyman said these youths who were once trusted with political power messed up the system in the country. He said this at the maiden edition of the Conversation Africa Series that was held in Lagos.
Pastor Bakare said the older generation of leaders are not the cause of Nigeria’s problems but the youths who failed to utilise the power entrusted to them. He urged the present crop of youths to be focused and determined to ensure that the dream of the nation’s founding fathers is actualised.
