Suhaila El-Zakzaky, daughter to the founder and leader of the proscribed Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has ordered members to fly the Palestinian flag in their homes, cars, and everywhere possible.
Suhaila El-Zakzaky made the call on Monday, May 18, in a special video broadcast to declare solidarity to the Palestinians, who according to her are being oppressed.
She said, “This month is usually meant for us to get close to Allah and to remember those in harder situations than ourselves, and those who are less fortunate and facing oppression all over the world.
“This is why we commemorate our QudsDay on the last Friday of Ramadan in each year to denounce the oppression of our brave brothers and also to show our support and solidarity.
“Unfortunately, this year, we cannot commemorate our QudsDay via gatherings and protest as we used to do, however, we will be flying the Palestinian flags from our homes, over the cars, streets, and whichever way possible for us to do so.
“If you have Palestine flag and you are able to fly it from home that will be really great as we come together to show solidarity for Palestine.”
