Suspected Cultists Kill 3 In Rivers Community For Insulting Leader’s Mother

Suspected members of the Iceland Cult group, have killed three members of Egbeh community in Ahoada-west Local Government Area of Rivers State, for allegedly insulting the mother of their leader, popularly known as ‘General Danger’.

The corpses of the victims, including a female, who were earlier abducted from the community on Monday morning, were later seen along the Egbeh and Ebiriba Road area of Ubie Kingdom.

It was gathered that before the incident, the two deceased male victims reportedly quarrelled with a woman said to be the mother of General ‘Danger’ who vowed to deal with them ruthlessly.

It was also gathered that the lady who was abducted alongside the two males is a girlfriend to one of the males.

However, the woman said to be the mother of General ‘Danger’ has fled the community.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Grace Iringe-Koko, has confirmed the ugly development.

Iringe-Koko stated that investigations is ongoing to unravel the circumstance that led to the killings and also arrest the perpetrators
