The State Executive Council of Ondo State has been dissolved by Governor Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, effective immediately.
Along with this, all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) have been removed from their positions.
Governor Aiyedatiwa assumed leadership in the state after the passing of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
It is worth noting that Akeredolu tragically passed away on December 27, 2023, after a prolonged illness while receiving treatment in Germany.
Akeredolu’s family has announced that his funeral ceremonies will take place from February 15 to February 25 in Ibadan, Akure, and Owo.
