Mostafa Mohamed opened the scoring for Egypt in the second minute, but Witness Ouembo equalized for Mozambique with a well-executed header in the 55th minute.
Just three minutes later, Clesio Bauque doubled Mozambique’s lead.
However, Salah leveled the score in the 90+4th minute, converting a penalty and ensuring that both teams shared the spoils in their Group opener.
