Governors Pay Condolence Visit to Borno State Governor Over Maiduguri Flood Disaster

A delegation of governors led by the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, paid a condolence visit to Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State to commiserate with him over the recent flood disaster in Maiduguri.

The visiting governors included Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, and Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State. They expressed their sympathy and support to the people of Borno State affected by the devastating flood.

During the visit, the governors offered words of encouragement and pledged to provide assistance to help alleviate the suffering of those affected by the disaster. Governor Zulum appreciated the solidarity and support from his colleagues, acknowledging the challenges posed by the flood.

The condolence visit demonstrates the unity and cooperation among Nigerian governors in times of crisis, as they work together to address the needs of their citizens.
