Lagos State Government Signs MOU With FG, Inspects Landmark Centre

Lagos State Government and Federal Government today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Transfer of Epe General Hospital to the Federal Government at the Landmark Event Centre, Plot 2 & 3, Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island.

Governor @jidesanwoolu signed on behalf of Lagos State Government while the Hon. Minister of State for Heath, @DrTunjiAlausa signed on behalf of Federal Government.

ADVANTAGES:

– To be known as Federal Medical Center, Epe

– FMC, Epe will be enhanced by providing specialised care including:

• Paediatric care including Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

• Medical ICU

• Advanced Surgical care including Open heart surgeries

• Advanced Obstetric and Gynaecological services for high risk pregnancies and gynae cases

• State of the Art Emergency and Trauma centre

• Nephrology services including Dialysis and Kidney transplant

• Radiological services including CAT scan and MRI services

• Orthopaedic care including spinal procedures

• Burns and Plastic services.

– A site has been chosen as the site for the Federal College of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (FEDCAM). This is to take advantage of the new Federal Medical Centre, Epe where students from FEDCAM will have their clinical posting.

• Acupunture
• Naturopathy
• Homeopathy
• Chiropractic medicine
• Osteopathy and
• Herbal Medicine
